KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
Flashcube – Building conversion to a 184-unit Class A multifamily property over ground-floor commercial space in Kansas City, MO. The nine-story asset is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With various tax credits on the table, this transaction involved numerous forms of incentive financing that traditional lenders often can’t perform.

FAYETTEVILLE, GEORGIA
Pinewood – Ground-up development of a new urban mixed-use project in burgeoning film and entertainment market in Fayetteville, GA. The Lofts at Pinewood will consist of 263 multifamily units; 29,000 square feet of retail space; and a 262-space parking garage. The Lofts is the first phase of Pinewood Forest’s 234-acre master-planned development, which will include 750 single-family residences, 300 hotel rooms, and 100,000 square feet of office and retail space. UC Funds’ investment enables the development of Pinewood Forest’s first multifamily units, The Lofts at Pinewood, and the start of the mixed-use plan. This marks UC Funds’ 30th transaction in the greater Atlanta region.

Magnolia Station – A vanguard creative financial solution will help boost revenue and occupancy for the Sponsor in hot submarket of Dallas, TX. This 121-unit multifamily will add short-term stay hotel suites to its mix and capitalize on the emerging opportunity for this service in bustling Victory Park.The Magnolia Station transaction is another example of UC Funds’ ability to look at deals with a unique lens that other lenders just are not able or willing to do.
