UC Funds, a vertically integrated commercial real estate specialty finance
firm is excited to be part of the development of a 266-acre entertainment
complex in Biloxi, Mississippi.
The $1.2 billion project will redevelop the historic, former Broadwater Beach
hotel, marina, and golf course. The entertainment complex is slated to open
by the summer of 2023.
“This is a gem of the gulf coast,” said Dan Palmier, Founder and CEO of UC
Funds. “It is an incredible redevelopment that will spur sustained economic
growth for the market and create a worldwide entertainment destination.”
Upon completion, the project will feature a 12,000 capacity indoor concert
event atrium that will be home to national and international entertainment,
year-round. Also part of the project is a 125,000 square foot casino, a 1,150-
room, full-service hotel and spa, a restored marina for recreational boats and
offshore fishing tournaments, and a signature-designed championship 18-
hole golf course and teaching academy. Destination amenities, restaurants,
and retail will be integrated throughout the complex.
The development is expected to produce 1,000 construction jobs and employ
2,500 upon full operation.
