UC Funds $25 Million Acquisition & Development Investment on Waterfront in Wilmington, North Carolina
Boston, MA – UC Funds, a vertically integrated commercial real estate specialty finance firm, invested $25 million for an 80-acre master planned community along the Cape Fear River in historic Wilmington, North Carolina. This property will be a multi-phased development, catering to the active-lifestyle individual, and will feature custom condos and townhomes, upscale apartment units, luxury hotel keys, high-end restaurants, and multiple marinas.
This recent transaction demonstrates UC Funds’ entrepreneurial lens, strong long-term relationships, and its “One Stop Shop” for commercial real estate capital solutions. UC Funds’ investment was comprised of a first mortgage loan and a significant equity stake.
