UC Funds $18 Million Equity Investment in Fayetteville, GA
UC Funds closes another Georgia transaction, the ground-up development of a new urban mixed-use project in burgeoning film and entertainment market
Boston, MA – May 20, 2019 – UC Funds, a vertically-integrated commercial real estate specialty finance firm, announced today its $18 million equity investment to develop a new urban mixed-use project in the burgeoning film and entertainment market in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Just 20 miles from downtown Atlanta, The Lofts at Pinewood will consist of 263 multifamily units; 29,000 square feet of retail space; and a 262-space parking garage. The Lofts is the first phase of Pinewood Forest’s 234-acre master-planned development, which will include 750 single-family residences, 300 hotel rooms, and 100,000 square feet of office and retail space.
UC Funds’ investment enables the development of Pinewood Forest’s first multifamily units, The Lofts at Pinewood, and the start of the mixed-use plan. This marks UC Funds’ 30th transaction in the greater Atlanta region.

The Lofts at Pinewood in Pinewood Forest sits just off of Tillman Place in Fayette County, 20 miles south of downtown Atlanta. The property is well-situated 12 miles south of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the busiest airport in the world in terms of passengers per day.
